It another snow day where I live. Da mama has decided to stay home with me today - I's sooooo bored all week. I think I would like to go outside but den I gets out there and it is like the freezer (full of things on da no eating list). Da Mama tells me that it is -27 degrees celsius outside and dats why da Ginger no like it much. It hurts da feetys.

Hope and Promise

Dis morning, da Mama and I went walkin' wid-out da Missy. Missy slows da Ginger down. Rains on da parade.

I saw da sky was full of hope and promise. Da Mama calls dem 'pink' and 'blue'. I tink dat my names is better.

Da magpies and da boojays were squeakin' and squawkin' exactly in the quietness where we was walkin'. Don't dey know dat dey is related? Dat dey family? Da Mama says '"that's what relations do, they fight". Now da Ginger know what dat noise is - dat noise is fight.

I saw sum berries dat look like white chocolates - I know dis because da Mama uses da white chocolate in her baking and she tells da Ginger dat dey is no good for her and den I know dat dey is tasty and she is just bein' stingy with da Ginger.

Da Mama tells da Ginger that dem berries is Gooseberries and I tink dat dey don't look like da gooses I know and I have to tink about dat one sum more.

Dere was also sum buttered popcorn on a stick but da Mama tell da Ginger again dat she is wrong. Dat dey is 'wild snapdragons' and dey is also on da no eating list. Dis list is gettin' bigger and bigger and da Gnger does not like dat.

We walked by the Squeeky's house and dere was da squirrel again. I chased da squirrel even tho' I not see him - I just hear him. I chase da squirrel through da trees and down the lane and da Mama is very mad when she finds me.

She also tell me dat not a squirrel, dat a 'Downy Woodpecker'.

Da Ginger gots a lot of learnin' to do.
